Mmm love when fall is in the air. Soup is always on my mind in the fall/winter months. This broccoli cheese soup is my favorite!

Broccoli Cheese Soup
makes 4 to 6 servings
ingredients:
- 1 medium head of broccoli or 1 bag of frozen broccoli
- 6 tbsp flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups half and half cream
- 1/2 tsp worchesteshire sauce
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 2/3 cup minced onion
- 2 cups cubed velveeta
directions:
1. cook broccoli and reserve 1 cup liquid
2. melt butter or in a pot and add onion and cook till tender, not brown
3. add 2 tbsp flour and blend then add 4 tbsp flour and mix till well blended
4. add chicken broth, 1 cup reserved liquid,and worchesteshire sauce and bring to a boil
5. add half and half and the broccoli
6. add velveeta and stir until melted
