Happy Birthday to my little guy, Beckham!!! Can’t believe that another year has already come and gone, and that my baby is growing up to be a smart, funny, and witty little man! I am so excited to see what adventures, milestones, etc.. that he take us on this year!
With Beckham’s curiosity, exploitative nature, and love for trouble making monkeys, a Curious George themed birthday party was perfect! With friends, family, food, cake, and photo booth, the birthday bash was a hit! Here is how it all came together.
It all started with these super cute invitations that we made.
George ready to greet all the guests as they arrive!
We turned my rustic log Holiday card display into a photo display of Beckham with some highlights of the year.
The cake & cupcakes turned out amazing! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Sprinkbelle Cakes does such an amazing job! Not only does the cake/cupcakes look great, they taste great as well!
Now time for some photo booth fun! I put together this cute little photo booth area with just a few simple items. I had this large canvas that has just been sitting around forever waiting to be used. So I just took that, printed out some red and yellow circles on regular paper and just taped them to the canvas. I knew that I will at some point be using that canvas, so wanted to make sure that the circles could be easily removed. Then here is the added bonus. I was going to make my own props, but while at the craft store picking up the supplies, I stumbled upon a photo booth prop kit…Score! It comes with 60 props and the dowels, making it super easy. Especially since I was getting this all ready the night before the party, and really didn’t feel like being up all night making props. The kit was 19.99 at Michaels, but I had a 50% off coupon, making it only 10 bucks! The kids really enjoyed the photo booth, but I think the adults enjoyed it even more! It was so much fun and a total hit at the party!
The photo booth was so much fun and so easy to create!
For the party favors, I found these Curious George velvety coloring posters at Dollar tree. Gotta love it when you find things like these at the dollar store. The kids loved them!
I am extremely happy with how the party turned out, and Beckham had a great time celebrating with everyone!
Happy Birthday Beckham!
XOXO!!!
