Hello! Let me first start off by saying I hope everyone is staying healthy and hanging in there during this difficult time we are in. Our world has definitely been turned upside down and we are all in this together.
As we are all adjusting to these new changes that have been thrown at us, I have taken this as an opportunity to spend more quality time with my family, keep the boys busy and just take it one day at a time and enjoy more of the little things in life.
We all loved making these bath bombs! So fun and easy to make. We even made extra and dropped a few off to some of Beckham’s buddies!
DIY All-Natural Bath Bombs
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
2 tbsp epsom salt (this is the kind I normally like to get, but due to what is going on right now with coronavirus all I could find was the brand pictured)
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
4 drops essential oil (I recommend not using oils that have perfumes in them, that are not all natural. I use Young Living exclusively and I am a distributor, find out more about oils HERE
1 tsp water
Mix together baking soda, citric acid and Epsom salts in a bowl.
Place drops of essential oil in tsp of water. We doubled the recipe and did 8 drops of Peace & Calming essential oil. Mix in melted coconut oil and essential oil into your dry ingredients. Mix well until crumbly.
Using your hands, pack mixture into silicone molds and allow to dry 8-12 hours. Enjoy!
These bath bombs have been a hit! The boys have been enjoying them in their baths and the Easter shapes just add to the excitement!
Both of my boys have really sensitive skin, so knowing that all the ingredients are all natural and safe for them is key for me. The coconut oil makes your skin so soft too.
We have been ditching all the toxic products in our home and switching over to clean safer products using Young Livings line of products. To Learn more about essential oils and how to get started you can find all the info HERE
