I just love this time of year! The weather starts cooling down, the leaves start changing into beautiful bright colors, the air is crisp and everything feels cozy, and the Holidays are near. I especially love this time of year and decorating my home for fall. I have started putting out my fall decorations, and decided to make some new decorations this year, which I am excited to finally start sharing them with all of you! Today I will be sharing my Fall Burlap Wreath, that is surprisingly so easy to make. I can’t believe that I am going to say this but, I have never made a burlap wreath before. Crazy huh?!? I am glad that I finally did though, it turned out so cute and seriously only took me about 15 min.
Supplies:
- burlap ribbon
- scissors
- wreath frame
- wire
- embellishments
Start by folding your burlap ribbon into quarters and securely attach it with your wire to the first ring.
Take the first bit of burlap and push it through the first wire frame, continue that for the second and the third part of the wire frame.
Now comes the Twist! Bunch up the three rings of burlap, turn over the wreath frame and twist the back part tightly. Then push the burlap through the first ring again, continue for the second and third ring again. Continue making your loops and twisting all the way until you get to the end.
Once completed, cut off the remaining burlap, fold it and securely fasten it to the wire frame. Then add any embellishments that you like, and you have a beautiful wreath in a matter of minutes!
Burlap wreaths are a simple yet elegant craft idea which are so easy to make. So happy with how my first burlap wreath turned out! Now looking forward to making a few more fall decorations and making my home complete for the fall season! Have you started decorating for fall yet?

Oh this is so cute! I love that you used the chevron burlap and not just plain. The added black really adds the perfect touch!

I just happened to link up behind you on SITS and when I read your blog I couldn’t help but smile. I have the exact same door, I painted it black last year AND I just hung a wreath on it almost exactly like the one you have! Great minds think a like I suppose! 🙂 So I think it goes without saying…..I love it your wreath! 😉

Your wreath is so cute!!! I have a few ideas for wreaths I’d like to make for my husband and me, but unfortunately, crafting is not high on our priorities at the moment. I’ve pinned so many great ideas, though! I especially love the choice of the chevron pattern with yours.
