Good Morning everyone! Hope you are all enjoying your week! It has been a busy week around here! I have been busy participating in blog hops, and challenges! Speaking of blog hops, if you haven’t already, make sure to check out the Holiday Gift Guide & Giveaway Blog Hop that I am participating in with 24 other bloggers! My gift guide has something for everyone on your list, as well as a giveaway for 100 Free Holiday Cards from Pro Digital Photos! This is something you definitely don’t want to miss out on!
Today I am participating in another fun blog hop! I have teamed up with some other talented bloggers in the Trim the Tree Blog Hop! I am sharing this super cute Pinecone Decorative Tree that I made. Love how it turned out!
Pinecone Decorative Tree
It all started with this little lifeless cone.
I painted the cone with craft paint in brown, and then using a sharp knife I carved out sections to fit the pine cones.
I continued to do this and glue the pinecones in as I went, with a hot glue gun. I used a variety of sized pine cones.
Once all the pinecones where glued in, then I glued moss in-between.
That is it! Love how it turned out, and it fits perfectly with the rest of my holiday decor! For more Holiday ideas, make sure to check out my Rustic Log Holiday Card Display, West Elm Inspired Geometric Ornament, and my DIY Joy Christmas Decoration.
I am so excited to see what everyone else created for the Trim the Tree Blog Hop! Let’s go take a look!
