My people + Hotel Park City = a great night!

Hmm 🤔. Should we stay the night in a hotel and find somewhere to sled? Should we cancel our hotel reservation and just go snow tubing? Or should we just do both - hotel and snow tubing? Hotel? Tubing? Tubing? Hotel?! Both!?!? The never ending battle that ensued was maddening, and almost as difficult as the “should we realllllly send These Christmas cards?" debate.

We ended up doing both and it was worth every penny!

From the amount of time it took Spenny and I to decide what to do for Beckhams birthday to the debacle we had once we got up to park city, you would have never thought sledding/tubing would have ever happened. But it did happen and all the frustrations of the day went away! It all ended up working out in our favor and Beckham said it was the BEST birthday 🥳

You would have thought we were a family that had never seen the snow/ski resort before, or a bunch of drunk’n sailors. Spenser totally biffed it on the “magic carpet” and fell flat on his stomach while Grayson is bobbing back and forth in the tube behind him. Meanwhile Beckham also took a dive and ended up half way through the protective fence like a boxer getting knocked through the ropes. After recovering and reaching the top, he followed that up by letting his tube go and had to frantically chase it down the hill. Last but not least, on the very last run, Beckham gets bulldozed by a family of four that came speeding down the hill!! It’s fine, we’re fine, everything is just fine!

With that said, tubing at Soldier Hollow was quite the adventure with lots of laughs and adrenaline rush!

Washington, D.C. was never one of those destinations that was on my list of places to go for a vacation, but man was I wrong. From the museums, memorials to monuments, there is so much history and amazing things to see and do. I liked it so much that we went a second time years later and took Beckham! Oh yeah and maybe it helps that my brother also lives close by there too 🤣 Good times in DC for sure!

I’ve been going through our vacation pics over the years and this one has always been one of my favorites!

A little story behind this capture. This was Beckham’s first trip to San Diego so we wanted to get some family pictures of us at the beach. We had our DSLR camera with no tripod, so we asked a few people to take our pictures with no luck. The pictures were either blurry or not good. Just as we were about to give up, a jogger stopped and asked if we wanted him to take a picture of the three of us....this is what he captured! If only we knew who he was to thank him. As my dad would say “it’s a framer!”

Can’t believe that little guy in the middle is going to be 8 in a few days!

Walking away from 2020 be like ✌️

Even though this this year was a rocky roller coaster ride filled with ups and downs that I am ready to get off of, there was lot of good that came out of it too. We spent more time together as a family doing stuff we may have not done otherwise, I grew in my young living business and did things I never thought I would do, along that journey I have met new friends as well as great community of love and people who support each other!
