Despite having major anxiety of the boys falling off one of the ledges, this view was pretty amazing 🙌

Just kicked off our fist summer vacation in Lake P

Just kicked off our fist summer vacation in Lake Powell! My cousin Corinne said it well, “it really is a magical place, especially with all the childhood memories!”

Growing up Lake Powell was a place we explored every year with family and friends. It brings back so many memories, like when my brother cut his foot open on day one, so the remainder of the trip he was down in the cabin of the boat with his foot wrapped up watching Bill and Teds excellent adventure over and over again 😂. Poor kid and poor us, for having to hear that movie all day long!

It makes me happy to share this magical places with my boys!

The one thing I can’t live without while camping is my DIY all natural bug spray! Love that I can make my own, it works and makes me one happy mama using it on and around my kids! Win win 🙌

DIY Bug Off Spray
2 oz spray bottle
1 oz witch hazel
10 drops citronella, lemongrass, peppermint, and lavender
Fill with distilled water

• Just enjoy the simple things in life
• Many day trips to the lake

• Last but not least because Beckham wants me to add it. Have a “YES day” (I’m going to regret this later) 😂. Have you watched that movie?

It’s safe to say this little fella enjoys hiking and the mountains just as much as his mama ⛰

I have really been enjoying our weekly hikes together. Exploring, being in nature and in the mountains is definitely our happy place!

They call this fascinating sandstone formation the Cosmic Ashtray 🙌

You know those hikes that give you so much satisfaction once you get to the top?! Well this one does just that! As your hiking up you would never think something this amazing would be lurking inside one of these rocks. Your almost to the top and then one more step and BOOM there it is! Oh Utah, you are pretty Ah-Mazing 🙌

To me, the large rock inside looks like a skeleton head! What would you say it resembles?
